Bock, MN's Sewage Cleanup Team, Full PPE Every Job

Blackwater contamination poses real health risk, unlike clean-water leaks, which is why it needs a different protocol.

Porous materials that contacted blackwater usually need to be removed and disposed of, since they can't be fully disinfected.

We use EPA-registered antimicrobial products specifically rated for blackwater contamination.

We don't close the file until air and surface checks pass.

We recommend checking your specific policy, and we'll support the claim with proper documentation either way.

Immediately — the longer contaminated water sits, the further bacteria and odor can spread into surrounding materials.
